Real-Time Musculoskeletal Imaging

Sports ultrasound is a non-irradiating imaging tool that provides real-time visualisation of muscles, tendons, ligaments, joints, and other soft tissue structures.

In addition, ultrasound imaging may assist clinicians in assessing dynamic movements, something that is not possilbe with MRI or CT imaging, and monitoring of certain conditions, in a more cost-effective way. Finally, it enables the guidance of selected procedures when clinically appropriate.

Clinical Assessment

Ultrasound imaging can be used alongside a physical examination and medical history to support the assessment of musculoskeletal conditions.
